  the reason I took you mob, is you have a network,( local distributers) with hands on experience, I had this unit installed, (hard wired) on thursday 10/05/12, by oak flats Electronics (NSW), my initial concern was the unit ran hot to touch, but after ringing perth, they confirmed it was normal due to vid,picsals, anyway the footage is awesome, i getting a cheaper version for me truck, and some of my co workers (who are truckies are thinking of doing same)

  I've a manager of trucking company who has adopted DR500GW for our 200 vehicles. So far, it first helps identifying how the accident has been unfolded as well as give a drive a peace of mind. In fact, our drivers are now extremely cautious as it keeps track of the speed and vibrations as well as where the vehicle has been etc. That's something our director ever wished to know how the driver behaves and check to see if they have a break in a long trip. We also adopted the system using the satellite and provides the real time but not worth it due to too much overhead costs.
  
  We recommend Auto BlackBox as they are the dash cam specialist and know that they don't supplier the cheap materials. Recommended to all trucking industry. Well done for the story.

  I am very happy with my purchase. Location is a bit of an issue because of the auto wiper & lights sensors on the windscreen. However that's not the units fault. Auto Black Box were quick & courteous in handling my order

  I purchased two of these cameras last week as a first time user of an 'in car camera', one for me and one for my partner. They arrived after only two days and I installed mine yesterday and tested it on a couple of trips. I have a Hyundai Getz and the cable is so long, it is more than adequate. I am absolutely amazed at the clarity of the vision. The software was easy to install on my pc and the playback is brilliant. I will get my phone or tablet organised to check the vision in the car, but for now I am happy with using the pc. We will be installing Adam's (my partner) today. I give the product 10/10 so far for ease of use and being almost invisible from outside the front of the car. I am very happy I bought this product and it is certainly worth the cost.

  The WiFi feature is especially useful as I can show footage from 5 minutes ago off my iPhone, thank you in processing my order so quickly, will recommend to the boss.

  I have been looking at the black box camera for a while, when I saw this model GR500GW which was compatible to MAC and WIFI to Iphone it was simple to choose.
  
  I have own this unit for 3 weeks and will highly recommend this unit. With Ipads and Iphone just down load the app
  'Blackvue' it's that simple.

  The first black box product I have seen that is compatible for MAC. Yeah!! I had an incar camera with a LCD screen and I reckon it was distracting quite a lot while driving. I'm now going to resell this unit on eBay. WIFI feature on DR500GW is just awesome as I can check the footage at the spot and playback what's been recorded. The quality of image is superb. This is one of great invention in 21Centry. Recommended.

  My Blackvue recorded a series of events on Tuesday night that unfortunately ended in the death of a pedestrian….. very very sad. The video of the events leading up to the incident has been given to Police. It is upsetting that the evidence I have supplied will assist to possibly convict a young bloke, But I owe it to the family of the person whose life he took. These devices must become standard in all vehicles, it never occurred to me when I bought it that I would use this data for anyone but myself.
